The concept

Play, don't organise.

You play, we take care of the rest. We organise your performances and provide the repertoire and sheet music.

No need to put together your own programme. Learn the pieces once and play them at many performances, gaining live experience while earning money with your music.

The repertoire

80 pieces. Plenty of room for you.

Our repertoire consists of around 80 short, specially composed piano pieces and lead sheets.

Stylistically it moves between jazz, blues, pop, lounge, film music and neoclassical. Many pieces draw on the harmonies of well-known jazz standards. The mix of fully written-out miniatures and lead sheets leaves room for your own interpretation and improvisation.

You don't have to learn everything at once. You start with 40 pieces and build your repertoire step by step.

All sheet music is provided free of charge.

LiveLog

Your repertoire. Your scores. Your performances.

Our own musician app LiveLog keeps everything in one place: it provides your scores, accompanies you through each performance and documents the pieces you play.

LiveLog is part of every performance. We'll introduce you to it personally.

Pay

Your music gets paid.

€25 per hour

Each hour is 45 minutes of playing and a 15-minute break, and the full hour is paid.

+ €200 repertoire bonus

One-off payment for learning the repertoire, paid after your first five concerts.

You work as a freelancer and invoice your fee. Days and times are flexible, so it's easy to combine with your studies and other projects.

Who's behind it

From musician to musician.

Urban Resonance was founded by Giotto Roussies, composer and jazz pianist. He wrote the repertoire and will personally support you as you get started.

Already up and running: Namos in Cologne hosts regular live piano with Urban Resonance.

Who we're looking for

Music students and graduates are very welcome. No German required.
